Surprise Surprise

Haven't blogged for a while- been a bit preoccupied with many changes happening not the least- finding somewhere to live. In a number of months- we will be on the move. Still in the same town but closer to my husband's work we hope. It is all a bit overwhelming. I hope this will be our last move for quite a few years!

One of Jem's lovely kindergarten teachers is having a baby and today we had a Surprise Baby Shower for her. Some of the mums from school with the help of the other kindy teacher planned it and was a terrific hit! It was amazing that she didn't suspect what was being planned- the kids did a surprisingly good job of keeping the secret. Each family bought a gift and each child drew a special picture which one of the mums had spiral bound for the teacher as a memento. How very Special!! The kids were also asked to come up with name suggestions for the baby- there were apparently some really funny suggestions. So here are some special pictures of the event.

Off to swimming lessons in about 10 minutes- and the girls are a little crazy this afternoon. I think Jem had too much sugar at the baby shower afternoon tea! See ya next time.
